It aims to publish definitive and original research papers of high standard, containing material of broad interest and of significant contribution to Hydrology, with emphasis being placed on hydrometeorology, surface hydrology, hydrogeology, drainage basin management and water quality, where water plays the central role.

The topics related to this journal include but are not limited to:

  • Drainage basin management
  • Hydrogeology
  • Infiltration
  • Modelling
  • Prediction
  • Soil moisture
  • Surface hydrology
  • Transport
  • Water quality
  • Groundwater
  • Hydrometeorology
